Nella sua storia, la fotografia non è rimasta immutabile ma si è di volta in volta trasformata non solo dal punto di vista estetico e stilistico ma anche da quello tecnico passando dalle stampe all’albumina a quelle all’alogenuro d’argento, dalle tante tecniche del colore alle più recenti legate al mondo digitale. Questa mostra, che  raccoglie un panorama di importanti autori italiani e internazionali che si sono misurati dalla seconda metà dell’Ottocento ad oggi con i più diversi generi, racconta anche della capacità di ogni sistema produttivo di trasformarsi. Come l’azienda farmaceutica Giuliani che nel video e nel catalogo che accompagnano la mostra racconta la sua storia fatta di innovazioni. 

In its history, photography has not remained immutable but has transformed itself from time to time, not only from an aesthetic and stylistic point of view, but also from a technical point of view- from albumen to silver halide prints, from numerous colour techniques to recent digital ones. This exhibition, which brings together a panorama of important Italian and international authors who have experimented, from the second half of the nineteenth century to the present day, with the most diverse genres, also illustrates the ability of every production system to transform itself. Like the pharmaceutical company Giuliani, which in the video and catalogue accompanying the exhibition, reveals its history made up of innovations.
