Ancor prima di essere un fotografo Francesco Saverio La Notte è un innamorato della natura. I suoi scatti sono momenti rubati sul campo alla Natura Selvatica. L’esposizione ci appare come una sinfonia. Se chiudiamo gli occhi sentiamo il silenzio dei luoghi in cui si apposta e il chiassoso sottofondo ora dei gruccioni in amore, ora dei passi di un orso che scomposto attraversa la radura, ora il battito d’ali dei combattenti in volo. Non è difficile immaginarei suoi appostamenti tra i cespuglio in capanni camuffati, lo zaino pesante per l’attrezzatura e la reflex pronta che gli consentirà, se Madre Natura vorrà, di catturare ancora una nota per la sua sinfonia.

Francesco Saverio La Notte is a nature lover, even more than he is a photographer. His snapshots are moments stolen from Wild Nature. The exhibition appears to us as a symphony. If we close our eyes we can hear the silence of the places where he is lying in wait, and the noisy background of courting bee-eaters, the footsteps of a bear clumsily crossing a clearing, the flapping of the wings of ru s in flight. It’s not di cult to imagine his stakeouts in the bushes or in camouflaged huts, his heavy backpack for the equipment, and the reflex camera ready, which will allow him, should Mother Nature give her blessing, to capture one more note for his symphony.
