Da 24 anni la Galleria Carla Sozzani ospita la raccolta delle più importanti immagini di attualità e fotogiornalismo scattate dai migliori fotografi al mondo. Una carrellata di storie vere, vicine e lontane, spesso crude e di forte impatto, per gettare uno sguardo sul percorso che l’umanità sta compiendo. Tra i fotografi italiani sono cinque i nominati: Giulio Di Sturco per la sezione Attualità; Luca per la neonata sezione Ambiente; Francesco Pistilli per le Notizie Generali, Alessio Mamo per la categoria Persone e Fausto Podavini per la categoria Progetti a Lungo Termine.

For 24 years the Galleria Carla Sozzani has been hosting the collection of the most important images of current events and photojournalism taken by the best photographers in the world. A succession of true stories, from near and far, often raw and strong in impact, allow us to take stock of the path that humanity is on. Among the Italian photographers are five nominations: Giulio Di Sturco for the News section; Luca for the newborn Environment section; Francesco Pistilli for General News, Alessio Mamo for the People category, and Fausto Podavini for the Long-Term Projects category.
