From reportage to portraiture, from artistic experimentation to the overlap between photography and writing. Fourteen women photographers show us the meaning of “care” in the time of covid. Through an intimacy enforced by enclosure, the women describe other women who have found the burden of care placed upon their shoulders. There are stories of empathy and pain, of closeness and loss, but it is the expression of strength, denunciation of injustice, of unmet needs and the story of a comfort that can not replace the absence of a service. On display are works by Alessandra Attianese, Anna Russo, Isabella Balena, Bruna Orlandi, Carla Bottazzi, Donatella Pollini, Eleonora Rettori, Grazia Ippolito, Isabella De Maddalena, Katia Zambelli, Margherita Dametti, Marzia Malli, Patrizia Riviera, Valeria Sinesi.
