Disused places, abandoned spaces, echoes of distant lives interpreted by the gazes that rest on surfaces once touched by human hands. In his delicately poetic shots, Massimo Badolato depicts the different souls of disused places, right down to the emptiness of industrial spaces. It is not only the gaze that counts, but above all the search for a perfect aesthetic and formal balance, both in the identification of the subjects to be immortalised and in the complex alchemy of the ancient printing process. The prints are thus animated with a vital breath that fuses and enhances the best aspects of the analogue and digital worlds.
