Photography that becomes writing, symbol, research and graphics. Venus is a reflection on female beauty and its evolution over time: from the classical aesthetic canons to the conscious acceptance of her own body in the body positivity movement. Lazzaron’s work features a delicate interweaving of photography and graphics: the artist engraves skilfully calibrated compositions on photographic paper and chemically modified film. Dreamlike images emerge, in which every sign reveals a well-defined inner symbolic value.
