Il 2018 è l’anno in cui Paola Mattioli compie settant’anni, ma anche i suoi primi lavori artistici sono legati agli anni Settanta, periodo della consapevolezza femminista. Già assistente di Ugo Mulas, nelle sue fotografie Paola Mattioli ha sempre portato una forte sensibilità insieme artistica, estetica e intellettuale. L’esposizione sarà incentrata su un excursus di lavori fotografici dell’artista a partire dagli anni Settanta fino a oggi, anni durante i quali ha toccato tanti temi, dal sociale al mondo del lavoro passando per i viaggi.

2018 is the year in which Paola Mattioli turns seventy, but her first artistic works are also linked to the seventies, a period of feminist awareness. Former assistant to Ugo Mulas, Paola Mattioli has always brought a strong artistic, aesthetic and intellectual sensibility to her photographs. The exhibition will focus on an excursus of the photographic works of the artist from the seventies up to today, years during which she touched many topics, from the social, to the world of work, to travel.
