Mettersi a confronto della Storia è inevitabile, soprattutto quando si tratta di anniversari. Quando si parla di Sessantotto è inevitabile riflettere su come e quanto il mondo sia cambiato. Via dalle storie di masse e dal roboante vociare della folla, il progetto di Barbara Miele sposta l’attenzione sui singoli protagonisti di quegli anni. A raccontarsi sono le storie che hanno fatto la Storia, sottolineandone l’unicità attraverso i sogni del singolo, accostando immagini di ieri a quelle di oggi e a perpetuare ciò che rimane dello spirito dei tempi cui si è appartenuti.

Confronting history is inevitable, especially when it comes to anniversaries. When we talk about 1968 it is inevitable to reflect on how and how much the world has changed. Away from the stories of the masses and the roaring voices of the crowd, Barbara Miele’s project shifts the attention to the individual protagonists of those years. The stories that are being told have made history, their uniqueness is emphasized through the dreams of the individual, combining images of yesterday with those of today and perpetuating what remains of the spirit of the times to which they belonged.
