Nel vano di una finestra compare improvvisa la figura di una ragazza che cerca con lo sguardo chissà cosa o chissà chi, su un balcone che sembra vicino ma forse è stato più semplicemente ripreso dalla stessa prospettiva – un’altra figura femminile si affaccia ammiccante. Nel mondo in bianconero di Ermanno Albano tutti osservano chi il mare, chi lo schermo del telefonino, chi la gente che passeggia: lo sguardo ironico del fotografo coglie il flusso di persone che scorre come fosse comandato dai tanti orologi che dall’alto sembrano scandire non solo la stessa ora ma anche il ritmo dei passi di questa anonima folla che avanza incalzata dal tempo.

Through a window opening, the figure of a girl suddenly appears- with her gaze she is looking for someone or something; on a balcony that seems near- but perhaps has simply been captured from the same perspective – another female figure looks out alluringly. In the black and white world of Ermanno Albano everyone is looking at something: the sea, the screen of the mobile phone, strolling people. The ironic gaze of the photographer captures the flow of people moving as if commanded by the many clocks that seem to chime not only the same hour, but also the rhythm of the steps of this anonymous crowd that advances, urged on by time.
